For we walk by faith, not by sight.-2 Corinthians 5:7
Many have failed to receive by faith because they expect to "feel" a certain way before they can receive from God. The Word of God is the source of faith, and it has nothing to do with feelings. The Word says we walk by faith, not by sight or the senses. Feeling is sense knowledge. We have been talking about sense knowledge, not revelation knowledge.
Is feeling in the revelation/spiritual realm or the sense realm?
Feeling is in the sense realm. Feelings can be a real thief in the arena of faith. In reality, feeling in itself has no power. The real power is in what you believe, not what you feel. I repeat, it is what you believe that matters, not how you feel.
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
Faith perceives as real fact what is not revealed to the senses, because faith says: the Bible says it and that settles it! I have received some of the greatest financial miracles from God when I did not feel anything.
You really know that you are maturing spiritually when you start to not be moved or controlled by your feelings.
Feelings are not dependable and very circumstantial! Walk by faith and not by feelings.
Finally, let's look at Hebrews 11:1 from the Amplified Bible again as we conclude:
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. In Jesus Name, Amen.
